Who we are

A pillar of support for the Assyrian community in Australia

Established in 1969, the Assyrian Australian Association is a non-profit organisation dedicated to serving the Assyrian community across Australia. Community, culture and education sit at the core of our values — and are reflected throughout every initiative we run.

From essential settlement services to language schools, scholarships and cultural events, we help Assyrian migrants flourish in Australia while keeping their unique heritage alive for generations to come.

“Rooted in respect, preservation and community — our mission guides everything we do, from casework to classrooms to cultural events.”
