The AAA Seniors Group gives older members of the Assyrian community a place to enjoy social activities, stay connected, and receive ongoing support as part of a caring, familiar community. It’s a chance for seniors to spend time with friends, take part in cultural and social activities, and stay engaged well beyond retirement.
Like all AAA initiatives, the group exists to help our community members flourish — combining companionship, cultural connection and practical support in a welcoming, low-pressure setting.

Programs like this typically include a mix of social, cultural and wellbeing activities. Replace the list below with what the group actually runs:
Regular get-togethers over tea, coffee and conversation.
Marking Assyrian holidays and milestones together as a group.
Guest speakers on topics relevant to healthy ageing.
Cards, board games and craft activities in a relaxed setting.
Group outings to local attractions and events of interest.
A familiar, caring community to lean on day to day.
