At the Assyrian Australian Association, our mission is rooted in respect, preservation, and community.

Preserve the Assyrian Heritage

  • Celebrate and safeguard the rich traditions, culture, and history of the Assyrian community.

Foster Respect

  • Promote mutual respect among members, the wider community, and the rights of individuals to live free from violence, harm, or threats.

Uphold the Rule of Law

  • Encourage adherence to Australia’s laws and institutions while fostering harmony and integration.

Promote Honesty and Fairness

  • Build trust and integrity within our community through ethical practices and open communication.

To achieve these goals, we are committed to:

  • Creating social and recreational opportunities for members and their guests through clubs and facilities.
  • Encouraging social, cultural, educational, and charitable activities to strengthen community bonds.
  • Supporting Assyrian migrants in assimilating into Australian society while maintaining their cultural identity.
  • Providing educational resources such as English and Assyrian language classes and translation services.

Through these efforts, AAA continues to be a pillar of support, unity, and pride for the Assyrian community in Australia.
