AAA Media release about recent incident at Christ The Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley

In response to the incident on April 15th, 2024, at Christ The Good Shepherd Church in Wakeley, and the stabbing of Mar Mari and other parishioners, the Assyrian Australian Association condemns all acts of violence. We extend our wishes for a speedy recovery to all those injured, including the police.
As law-abiding citizens of Australia, we must show respect to our authorities who are working diligently to calm the situation and assist the injured. We urge our community members to remain calm and refrain from taking matters into their own hands, allowing the authorities to carry out their duties.
